It’s a wonderful opportunity to reminisce on the incredible journey of Burra Foods.

From its humble beginnings in the 1980s, when brothers William and Grant Crothers operated a Shepparton-based liquid milk plant processing 35 million litres annually. Faced with economic challenges and record-high interest rates, the brothers made the bold decision to sell and acquire the Korumburra Butter Factory. 

With a visionary spirit and a team of just six, Burra Foods was born, transforming a dilapidated facility into a hub of dairy innovation. Today, we celebrate this incredible legacy and the unwavering commitment of our founders and every individual who has contributed to our success.
