FY23 Opening Farmgate Milk Price Increase
Burra Foods is pleased to confirm an increase in Opening Farmgate Milk Price for FY23 to $9.10 – $9.50/kg milk solids for the period July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023.
“The competition for farmgate milk supply continues to accelerate as we approach 30th June. It is definitely a sellers’ market and we have been monitoring announcements on a daily basis,” said Burra Foods chief executive Stewart Carson.
“Milk Supply Partnerships are the foundation of our business, and we need to maintain a competitive price – hence today’s announcement.
“As per normal, we will continue to report our milk price range rather than a headline price because over 90% of our Milk Supply Partners will receive an income estimate within this range.”
