Eleanor Patterson
Eleanor is a homegrown Gippsland girl from Leongatha. She is one of Australia’s most successful high jumpers. Eleanor won the Commonwealth Games in 2014, the World Championships in Oregon in 2022, and since then has gone on to win a Commonwealth Games silver in 2022, a World Championships silver medal in 2023 and an Olympic bronze medal in Paris this year.
Patterson has a personal best of 2.02m and is ranked 5th in the world for 2024. Eleanor is coached by Alex Stewart and trains with his group in Sydney.
